She has been in healthcare since 2008, when she started in oncology with a deep-seated passion for helping others, and she has always been fascinated by the evolving technologies in plastic surgery. A lifelong Oregonian, Ashley lives in Eugene with her husband and their two young children, and she enjoys traveling and making memories outdoors.

Planning Your Visit

Initial Consultation Options

Telehealth Consultation Option: For our out-of-town patients seeking certain procedures, we may be able to offer an initial telehealth consultation to discuss your goals, review your medical history, and discuss a potential treatment plan.

However, if you are interested in a breast procedure, then we strongly recommend starting with an in-person consultation, as surgical planning will require a thorough exam and measurements.

We recommend scheduling your consultation 2-3 months before your desired surgery date to allow adequate time for pre-operative preparations, medical clearances, and coordinating your travel.

In-Person Consultation: Your plastic surgery consultation typically takes 45-60 minutes and includes:

• Thorough physical examination
• Comprehensive conversation about your goals and priorities
• Detailed discussion of your surgical options
• Review of before-and-after photos of similar cases
• Personalized surgical plan development

If you choose to begin with a telehealth consultation, we will also schedule an in-person consultation before your surgery to confirm details of your surgical plan, perform a physical exam, and spend time answering questions that may have arisen.

In-Person Follow-Up Visits in Eugene

• Day 1-2 Post-Op: Initial check-up for wound inspection and pain management.
• Day 5-7 Post-Op: Key visit for suture/drain removal (if applicable) and travel clearance discussion.
• Future follow-up appointments may include visits at 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year.

Wherever you are in your recovery, you will have around-the-clock access to our on-call team.

• Portland International Airport (PDX): 2 hours north. More direct flights; rental car recommended.

• Northern CA: 4-6+ hours

Pre-Operative Preparation & Packing List

Before You Leave Home

• Medical Clearance: We will notify you if clearance from your primary care physician is needed and provide all necessary forms.
• Prescriptions: We will send your prescriptions to a local Eugene pharmacy for you to pick up before your surgery day.
• Pre-Op Instructions: You’ll receive detailed instructions on medication restrictions, fasting before anesthesia, and skin preparation.

Packing List for Traveling Patients

Clothing:

• Loose, comfortable clothing (button-front or zip-up tops are essential for most procedures)
• Slip-on shoes
• Elastic waistband pants

Medical & Personal:

• All current medications in original containers
• Photo ID and insurance cards
• Glasses (contacts cannot be worn during surgery and may be uncomfortable post-op)

Other Items:

• High-protein snacks or drinks for quick and easy nutrition
• Entertainment (books, tablet, headphones)
• Neck pillow for travel
• Sleep mask and earplugs
• Extra pillows, if not provided by your accommodations
